The Society
The Rockingham District Historical Society was formed in 1969 as a branch of the Royal West Australian Historical Society, we are now an affiliated member, we are also a member of Museum Australia.
The Rockingham Museum was first opened in 1974 at a site in Marine Terrace it has operated from the current site since 1979.one of the aims of the society is to maintain the museum and library.
We hold a monthly meeting on the last Saturday of the month at 2 pm, February to November. Meetings from March to November are followed by a speaker and afternoon tea.

Joining the Society
The membership fee is Adults $10.00; Family $13.00. Membership is from January to December.
